Hyundai Doosan Infracore and Hyundai Construction Equipment, the No. 1 and No. 2 construction machinery manufacturers, respectively, in Korea, will jointly participate in CONEX Korea for the first time.
The two companies will participate in the Korea International Construction Equipment Exhibition 2021 (CONEX Korea 2021) to be held at KINTEX, Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, from November 10 (Wednesday) to 13 (Saturday) to introduce future innovative technologies in the construction machinery industry by exhibiting cutting-edge smart construction solutions and eco-friendly construction equipment.
They will also unveil new construction machinery models to be launched in Korea and other countries while also providing opportunities for visitors to observe equipment in detail and holding pre-contract events.
Marking its 11th anniversary this year, CONEX is the largest construction equipment exhibition in Korea held every 3 years with a total of 190 (115 domestic, 75 overseas) companies from 15 countries participating in this exhibition.
First, Hyundai Construction Equipment will introduce the ICT-based "HYUNDAI CONNECT" such as ▲ remote equipment diagnosis, ▲ automated machine control, and ▲ safety accident preventive detection system and exhibit eco-friendly construction equipment such as 14-ton hydrogen excavator, 1.8-ton hydrogen reach truck, and 1.8-ton electric excavator.
Moreover, it will showcase new products such as 52-ton excavator (HX520A), 32-ton excavator (HX320A), 8.5-ton small and medium-sized excavator (HX85A), 14-ton excavator (HX140ACR) without urea water, and 4.5-ton compact track loader (HT100V).
Hyundai Doosan Infracore will introduce digital smart solutions including 3D machine guidance and wheel loader transparent buckets developed in-house, Clean Technology to reduce carbon emissions, and XiteCloud platform, a comprehensive monitoring and control solution for autonomous automation.
In particular, the company plans to highlight its smart construction technology by demonstrating safety and automation technologies in XiteCloud while remotely controlling a 22-ton excavator located in Boryeong Test Center in Chungnam Province. Moreover, it will preview the 3-ton and 3.5-ton mini excavators to be launched next year and exhibit 35-ton demolition special equipment used for building demolition.
"For the domestic construction machinery industry to advance into a global ‘top-tier,’ future innovative technologies such as smart, automation, and eco-friendly are crucial. Hyundai Construction Equipment and Hyundai Doosan Infracore will do their best to lead future innovation technologies in the construction equipment market by maximizing synergy using integrated R&D," a Hyundai Genuine official said.
