►Introducing Korea's first 35-ton demolition excavator with increased work efficiency following the 53-ton demolition excavator
►Enables safe demolition up to 6 stories high, equipped with convenient tools that can significantly reduce working time
Hyundai Doosan Infracore, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group's construction equipment subsidiary, is targeting a niche market with high value-added special equipment.
Hyundai Doosan Infracore has announced that it will unveil the 35-ton demolition excavator (model name: DX350LC-7 Demolition) in Korea at CONEX KOREA to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan for four days from Wednesday, November 10. This product is expected to be in high demand as it is manufactured based on a 35-ton excavator that is widely used in domestic demolition sites, and its long boom and long arm for demolition allow work up to 18 meters above the ground.
In particular, a modular joint (automatic pin removal system) is applied so that the front parts such as the bucket, boom, and arm can be quickly attached and detached according to the working height, while the quick coupler applied to hoses makes it easy to attach and detach various work tools, significantly reducing the operation time and increasing operational convenience. <Continued>
In addition, the cabin where the driver is located can tilt up to 40 degrees, ensuring visibility when working at heights, and the boom and arm are designed to operate in three stages to maximize structure accessibility and work efficiency.
Hyundai Doosan Infracore plans to actively target the high value-added special equipment market by diversifying its lineup as it launches the new 35-ton model following the release of the 53-ton demolition excavator (model name: DX530LC-5L Demolition) in 2019. The 53-ton model, designed to demolish structures up to 26 meters high, which is about 8 stories, has been leading the market as the best-selling special demolition equipment in Korea.
The special demolition excavator is a high value-added equipment that is twice as expensive as the price of a general excavator of the same class, and demand is expected to increase as more emphasis has been placed on construction site safety.
An official of Hyundai Doosan Infracore said, “Today, there is growing demand for special demolition excavators due to strengthened safety at demolition sites. We will introduce a variety of special equipment for demolition that can increase work efficiency and worker convenience to help improve safety at demolition sites." <End>
