(SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – Apr. 22, 2024) HD Hyundai Infracore, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai’s construction equipment business, will be making an appearance at the 2024 edition of the Intermat Exhibition with its new brand, DEVELON.
HD Hyundai Infracore shared today that it will be participating at Intermat 2024 held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte in France from Apr 24 to 27.
Intermat is one of the world's three largest construction machinery trade fairs, alongside Conexpo held in the US and Bauma in Germany. The trade show is returning after six years since being cancelled in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In HD Hyundai Infracore’s 2,000㎡ exhibition booth, the company will be showcasing next generation equipment and state-of-the-art technologies.
DEVELON’s autonomous solution named ‘Concept-X 2.0’ will be making its European debut, showing a glimpse of how construction sites will look like in the future. A live demonstration of the cabinless DX225-CX crawler excavator and DD100-CX dozer will be taking place at the booth, showing the audience how autonomous machines work together at construction sites.
A new range of compact equipment will also be available at the booth’s static display area. In addition to a full lineup of 1 to 10 tonne grade excavators, compact track loaders, dozers, and other products that meet various customer needs will be exhibited.
According to Off-Highway Research, mini excavators took the largest European market share in 2023, with over 90,000 units being sold in the region.
The company will also be revealing the DL250-FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) for the first time, meeting global carbon reduction trends. This versatile machine significantly reduces carbon emissions with a single platform design. It runs on hydrogen fuel cells but can also transition to a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).
A separate booth will also be prepared for HD Hyundai Infracore’s engine business. Here, it’s all new DX05 5L and DX08 7.5L off-highway engines, ready for launch later this year, will be unveiled for the first time. Both engines meet the latest Stage 5 emission regulations and boast advanced power and durability compared to their previous models.
Various ‘green’ products will also be at the exhibition booth from electric and hybrid excavators, to a five new electric battery packs lineup, and a hydrogen combustion engine.
A representative of HD Hyundai Infracore mentioned, “Intermat 2024 will be an opportunity to introduce DEVELON’s next generation technologies and products that are targeted towards the European market. Our goal is to improve customer satisfaction by listening to what they need and providing innovative solutions that meet such requests.”
Meanwhile, DEVELON recently received the grand prize for Brand Identity Renewal in the communication and branding category at the German iF Design Award 2024. The company was highly recognized for successfully setting a new brand identity since its launch last year. It has been applying the brand’s unique visuals and symbols to different promotional items, contents, product visuals targeted for customer communication. <EOD>
