Hyundai Heavy Industries Group’s Construction Equipment Business Supports Busan’s Bid for World Expo 2030 at BAUMA 2022, World’s Largest Construction Machinery Trade Fair 2022-10-25

The three construction equipment businesses of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group (Hyundai Genuine, Hyundai Construction Equipment, and Hyundai Doosan Infracore) promoted a nationwide campaign for Busan’s bid to host World Expo 2030 during a large scale exhibition held in Europe.

Hyundai Genuine, Hyundai Construction Equipment, and Hyundai Doosan Infracore announced that they will be holding a promotional campaign at their exhibition booths at BAUMA 2022 (BAUMA), the world’s largest construction machinery trade fair from Oct 24 to 30, held in Munich, Germany.

Hyundai Construction Equipment and Hyundai Doosan Infracore will be screening a World Expo 2030 Busan promotional video at the main LED screens in their exhibition booths, and also handing out brochures with information on why Busan is an excellent choice to host this event. The three CEO’s of the construction equipment businesses, Hyundai Genuine Vice Chairman & CEO Sohn Dong-youn, Hyundai Construction Equipment CEO Choi Cheol-gon, Hyundai Doosan Infracore CEO Oh Seung-hyun, will also be attending the campaign held on Oct 24, the opening day of BAUMA, along with promotional towels to support Busan Metropolitan City's efforts to win World Expo 2030.

Germany's BAUMA exhibition is one of the world's three largest construction machinery trade fairs and is expected to attract more than 600,000 visitors this year from all over the world, making it a great opportunity to promote Busan and its bid to host the world expo.

Meanwhile, the three construction equipment companies of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group will continue to support Busan at various global exhibitions until the final venue is selected in November 2023. <EOD>
